Roxy's passion and understanding for art, beauty and fashion is showcased through the inventive range in her makeup. She has been trusted to create looks for wide known talents such as Shailene Woodley, Rachel Bloom, Sasha Pieterse, Analeigh Tipton and M.I.A. Her robust career has brought her to work with some of the leaders in fashion and entertainment photography such as Norman Jean Roy, Hedi Slimane & Ben Watts. Alongside her makeup on the red carpet, Roxy's work has been featured in magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, Instyle, V Magazine and Nylon.
The diversity in her makeup pairs greatly with the diversity in her lifestyle. Roxy moved from Hawaii to NYC where she lived for several years before moving to Paris to attend the world renowned Artistic Academy of makeup; Christian Chauveau. Now residing in Los Angeles, when Roxy is away from exercising her artistic passions, she loves to spend her time engaged in her highly active lifestyle that ranges from Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu, resistance training, hot yoga and much in between. Roxy's love for creating is not limited to makeup; she is the creative force behind www.blackbeltbeauty.com & @blackbeltbeauty on Instagram, an online platform that offers viable mindset inspiration along with nutrition and training knowledge in an effort to support the journey of women living with the aim to create their "ultimate selves" from within and out. What Roxy calls: "360degreesofBeauty."
